The jury in the Johannes Mehserle trial (better known as the Oscar Grant trial) convicted the former transit cop (Mehserle) of involuntary manslaughter. In Oakland, Calif., a bunch of idiots used this as an excuse to break some windows and help themselves to jewelry, groceries, and shoes.

Tuesday morning, approximately 0215 hours, in Tampa, Florida: two police officers were shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop. The officers killed were David Curtis and Jeffrey Kacab. The prime suspect, still on the loose at the time of this posting, is Dontae Rashawn Morris.
